Project Cost
Note: The project cost for each VTP varies significantly according to factors such as city / site location, overall design, tower height, the selected ride and attractions mix, the size and uses within the Entertainment Centre, local construction costs, import duty rates (for the rides) etc.
Each individual VTP project will vary in cost for the reasons outlines above. For illustrative purposes however, in order to provide a broad cost range, it is helpful to categorise the VTP design options as follows:
- VTP 'Lite'
- VTP 'Premium'
- VTP 'International'
VTP Lite
For the smaller 'Entry Level' VTP Lite design the overall project cost (excluding land and finance) can be delivered for approximately US$75m-$100m which includes a condensed ride and attraction mix and a smaller Entertainment Centre.
VTP Premium
For 'Mid-Level' tower designs the overall project cost (excluding land and finance) can be delivered for approximately US$200-$300m. This includes an enhanced ride and attraction mix and larger Entertainment Centre.
VTP International
For our largest 'International Cities' model the overall project cost (excluding land and finance) is in excess of US$400m. This includes a substantial ride and attractions mix and significantly larger Entertainment Centre at the base of the tower.
Note: VTP Global will advise the investor as to the most suitable tower design, ride / attraction mix and content within the Entertainment Centre in order to optimise return on capital. As a team we are able to work to a fixed budget and always look to value engineer the project throughout the design and construction phases.
